On August 1st, 2009, Film Jam is hitting the historic El Mocambo in downtown Toronto for the 18th time. For over 2 years, the Film Jam has been giving a stage for musicians, artists and filmmakers from all over Toronto and surrounding areas to help kick start their careers. Last year, the Film Jam was taken to the next level and the 1st Battle of the Jams was started. Over 1,000 people voted and Oriana (myspace.com/orianamusic) took home the inaugural prize, a $10,000 music video.
