June 2009 - Space villain in sci-fi genre children's theater production. Voice characterization reminiscent of Peter Lorre (a la the Maltese Falcon) was a big hit.
December 2008 - Lovable octogenarian in Senior Residence home. Good lines - lots of laughs.
December 2006 - 4 side-character roles in a Musical Comedy/Drama which depicted the life experiences of the main character: Pre-1910 Delivery room doctor, 1920's small town pharmacist father-in-law, 1930's Hollywood film director, and current era - high profile client - black suit security guard.
December 2005 - Cantankerous, eccentric 80-something retired Department Store mogul in a musical comedy/drama in which his daughter brings him out of retirement temporarily to rescue the store from the evil machinations of his newly-appointed store manager prospective son-in-law.
December 2004 - Achtung! Played German-immigrant musical director (of course! mit der heavy accent!) hired in turn of (20th) century America by a family-run, traveling musical, vaudeville troupe to run a small-town production. The highly polished professional having to deal with local amateurs created some memorable scenes. Disaster invokes a touching soliloquy as well as a solo rendition of "Silent Night" in German.
